TRAINING PROGRAMMES:

       1]    Conducted several teachers training programs on MICROPROCESSOR APPLICATION of 3-10 week duration since DECEMBER 1983 to JULY 1990.

       2]    The said training programs were also extended for training of industrial personnel by taking token participation fee to suit their tailored requirements.

       3]    The Centre has been conducting for long time short term courses on Unix and C(Now,Introduction to Linux and C Programming) for 10+2, graduates and engineering students taking some nominal fees.

       4]    Besides trainig personnel,the facilities created by the center has been extended for the U.G.,P.G. students and research scholars working in the allied areas.

       5]    2007-08 is being observed as the Silver Jubilee of the centre with the organization of 2 half-day tutorials on 7th Feb."08,a 2-day National Conference on Recent Trends in Information Systems(ReTIS) During 8-9 Feb."08 and a number of lecture meetings in association with IEEE Calcutta Section in this period.
